Sexy in the sense that they save you money, anyway. It's kind of a high and a challange to see how much you can save when you shop. Mind you, I'm no expert at this, yet. But I'm learning a lot from some cool sites like The Krazy Coupon Lady. This chick is Ka-RA-zy Kool. She lists all the major chains and their circulars and compares the deals between different chains. It couldn't possibly be any easier than that! A big key to saving big at the grocery is "stacking", where you combine a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon to get extra savings. And the trifecta bonus if you can combine it with a "doubler" and save even more! Albertson's and Safeway are the best ones I've found for having doublers. Combine some of these with a a 10 for $10 special and you can walk away with a lot of loot for free!
Another amazing place to get food inexpensively is Angelfoodministries.com. For $30, you can get a box of food that feeds a family of 4 for a week. No income restrictions, no questions asked. We just ordered our first box from them, so I will have to post about that after it comes at the end of the month.
